E grozav să te trezești dimineața, să ieși în curtea generoasă și să-ți bei cafeaua cu o priveliște greu de găsit în altă parte – dincolo de zidurile fortificate se vede Țara Ovăzului – Haferland iar dacă-ți muți privirea spre dreapta vezi turnul bisericii evanghelice, cu care Casa Kraus e vecină. De altfel, pe cele două nu le desparte decât o ușă mică, veche și grea, din lemn înnegrit de vreme pe care oaspeții casei pot să intre și să iasă ori de cate ori vor și mai multă liniște.
